World premiere of Jorn Konijn's first documentary
Jorn Konijn’s first feature-length documentary, Max Risselada: Life, Works and 12 Buildings, will have its world premiere in the Architecture Film Festival Rotterdam (AFFR) next Saturday, followed by a Q&A moderated by Saskia van Stein.
Max Risselada: Life, Works and 12 Buildings, is a wonderful trip down memory lane, from the Smithsons' Economist Building in London to Le Corbusier's work in Ahmedabad. After working in the fifties for Charles and Ray Eames, the Dutch architects Van den Broek en Bakema, and Aldo van Eijck, Max Risselada returned to the TU in Delft as a teacher. As a professor he played an important role in the formation of a new generation of architects, including Francien Houben and Bjarne Mastenbroek. In Jorn Konijn’s Max Risselada - Life and Work in 12 Buildings, Risselada takes the viewer once more on a fascinating tour of the twelve buildings that inspired him the most.
